  13.    I have a 2gig HD, an IBM Mod# 0664M1H, which worked perfectly on my A3000
  14. under OS 2.1, and still works fine on a PC, but locks the A3000 up hard when
  15. I try to scan the SCSI bus to use the drive under OS 3.1.  At the time I was
  16. running it under OS 2.1, I was also running the Rev.04 WD SCSI chip, though
  17. had switched to the newer Rev. 08, but am now back to the Rev. 04 chip.  The
  18. 2gig refuses to work under OS 3.1 regardless of what is done or what SCSI
  19. chip is used.    Anyone have any ideas what I need to do to get this drive
  20. to work with the A3000 again?

  22.    BTW, the reason I switched back to the Rev. 04 SCSI chip is because I had
  23. another smaller external drive hooked up while using the Rev. 08 chip, and
  24. the more I used the smaller drive, the flakier the system acted until it
  25. finally invalidated one or both drives.

  27.    I'm also running an external Sony CD-ROM and an Exabyte 8200 DAT tape
  28. drive.
